It began with the first loom, still on display at the Baichuan showroom.
Based in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, near the beautiful coastal city of Xiamen, Baichuan was founded in 2004 by Feipeng Zhang.
A true innovator, he began to develop solutions for a growing problem. Today, Baichuan is one of the most experienced and specialised recycling companies in the world.
Through continuous investment in innovation, Baichuan creates sustainable solutions for clients across the globe by turning plastic waste into high-quality fabrics and yarns for the apparel industry.
In 2023, our third factory was completed. At full capacity we can produce 100 million meters annually.

Team
Located close to the beautiful coastal city of Xiamen, we are easily accessed via two international airports and a bullet train. Situated on 138 acres, we employ over 500 people with a footprint of 147,658 square meters. Our third factory was completed in 2023. We are now producing at full capacity of 100 million meters annually.
Factories
The annual installed capacity is 100 million meters. Our current yarn production is 5,000 tonnes per month. And our zipper production is currently running at over 25 million meters per month.
Capacity
We are committed to sustainability at every level of our production. Our factories hold ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, and we proudly possess GRS and Ocean Cycle certifications. All our yarns, fabrics, and zippers comply with RoHS, EN71, and REACH standards. We prioritize the recycling and reuse of all water used in the production process, and even the screw caps from PET bottles are recycled. Additionally, our carton yarn cones are made from recycled paper and are themselves reused and recycled.
